Center for Neural Science

Simon (Simone) is a PhD candidate in the Tsien Lab and is broadly interested in plasticity of the nervous system. Their research focuses on forms of homeostatic plasticity and activity dependent regulation of synapses and excitability. They are currently elucidating the role voltage gated calcium channels (VGCCs) play in signaling a neuron's activity levels. In their time outside the lab, Simon makes art and music.
